Frequently Asked Questions

How do you work with importers seeking distribution rights for Ripharma brands?

We partner with qualified importers and distributors to grow our brands in their markets. Each opportunity is assessed on territory, market potential, product range and the distributor’s commercial strength. Depending on the fit, we offer exclusive or non-exclusive rights, with territory, terms and performance targets agreed upfront.

Can you supply products under our own brand?

Yes. We can develop and supply products under your brand name, covering product selection, formulation and packaging, brand development, regulatory documentation and manufacturing coordination. Feasibility, minimum order quantities, development costs and regulatory needs are assessed for each product.

Are there minimum annual purchase commitments?

There is no fixed minimum. Commitments depend on the partnership, product range, territory, market potential and whether the products are Ripharma brands or your own. Any purchase commitments or sales targets are agreed before the partnership begins.

Who pays for dossiers, samples and registration?

This is agreed before each project starts. Depending on the product and country, costs can include dossier preparation, sample manufacturing and shipping, analytical testing, comparative dissolution or bioequivalence studies, and registration fees.

We ask for an upfront deposit to confirm your commitment before registration work begins. Costs may be shared, or one party may take a larger share, depending on the opportunity. All costs, deposits and payment milestones are documented before work starts.

Can the deposit be adjusted against future orders?

Yes. The deposit can be credited against your commercial orders over time, at an agreed amount or percentage per invoice. You recover the deposit through your purchases, and we gain confidence that registered products will reach the market.

What happens if registration fails, or no orders follow approval?

Both cases are covered by the Product Registration and Commercialisation Agreement signed before the project starts.

If registration fails, costs incurred and any unused deposit are settled under the agreed terms, taking into account why the application failed.
If registration succeeds but no orders follow within the agreed period, the agreement’s terms on registration costs, the deposit, reimbursement and territory rights apply.

This gives both sides clarity from the outset.

Who owns the registration and regulatory documents?

Ownership is agreed and documented before registration begins. It can differ for Ripharma brands and your own brands, and depends on the importing country’s rules. The agreement covers registration ownership, brand rights, access to documents and any transfer rights.

Do you provide marketing support?

Yes. Depending on the products and agreement, we can provide:

Product catalogues and information sheets
Brochures and promotional literature
Visual aids and presentations
Product images and approved pack artwork
Brand guidelines and approved marketing assets

For Ripharma brands, existing approved materials are available for your market. For private-label products, we can create custom materials, including design, adaptation, translation and artwork, under separate agreed fees.

Local marketing activity and its costs are the distributor’s responsibility unless agreed otherwise in writing. Materials must follow local advertising and regulatory rules, and any change to Ripharma brand assets needs our written approval.

Can you supply products that aren’t on your product list?

Yes. Through our manufacturing partners, we can source existing formulations or develop new ones, subject to feasibility. Each request is assessed on availability, manufacturing capability, regulatory needs, MOQs and commercial viability. Specifications, branding, pricing and timelines are agreed before we proceed.

How are quality complaints handled?

We work with the manufacturing partner’s quality team to investigate every reported complaint, deviation or non-conformity. Each case is documented and assessed under our quality procedures. Where needed, the root cause is identified and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) are put in place. We keep you informed of progress and findings throughout.

Can we audit the manufacturing facilities?

Yes. With advance notice, and subject to the manufacturer’s approval, policies and confidentiality terms, we can arrange audits for you or your authorised representative. Scope, scheduling, documents and costs are agreed in advance.

Can multiple products ship together?

Yes, where possible we combine products into a single shipment to simplify logistics and reduce freight costs. This depends on product readiness, production schedules, storage and handling needs, documentation and regulatory requirements.

What are typical manufacturing and supply timelines?

Timelines depend on the product, packaging, order quantity, raw material availability and the manufacturer’s schedule. New developments need extra time for formulation, validation, testing and regulatory work. We confirm an estimated timeline with each quotation and order confirmation.
